HNW Solutions is a small practice. Glen A. Gusewelle reads every piece of information you send us. The handful of systems we use are listed below. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any form.
§ 1What we collect
To advise you on insurance, we collect what carriers require for underwriting plus what we need to do our own work:
- Identifying information: name, date of birth, contact details, Social Security number where required for application.
- Financial information: assets, liabilities, income, existing coverage in force.
- Health information: when applying for life or health products, the information requested by the carrier on the application or via medical examination.
- Relationship information: your other advisors (attorney, CPA, banker, RIA) when you authorize us to coordinate.
§ 2What we do with it
We use information to research, illustrate, apply for, and service insurance contracts on your behalf. We share information with insurance carriers strictly to obtain quotes, submit applications, and administer policies in force. Where you authorize it in writing, we share relevant information with your other advisors.
§ 3What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or otherwise monetize your information.
- We do not use your information for marketing to anyone else.
- We do not maintain a public mailing list, newsletter, or paid acquisition channel.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this website.
§ 4How we protect it
Client files are maintained in an access-controlled cloud environment with multi-factor authentication. Physical files are kept under lock at our Story City office. Email containing personal information is encrypted at rest by our provider. We retain records as required by Iowa Code, applicable carrier contracts, and IRS regulations.
§ 5Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you at any time, and you may request that it be corrected, restricted, or deleted (subject to record-retention rules that apply to insurance practices). § 6Cookies
HNW-Solutions.com sets a single first-party session cookie used only to maintain form state if you begin a contact request. It expires when you close your browser. We do not use third-party cookies, fingerprinting, or analytics services that share your visit with other parties.
§ 7Children
This site is not directed to children. If you are a parent applying for coverage that insures a minor child, the same protections apply to information about that child.
